About Us

We are a fun loving couple that enjoys traveling to new places, trying new food and enjoying brand new adventure. However, as much as we enjoy an exotic vacation with new ventures, we enjoy a simple walk in our neighborhood or making s'mores at our outdoor fire pit, as well as packing a picnic basket and heading to the local park to sit and chat. We appreciate all the little things in life and build our lives on that motto. Our hope is to pass this philosophy along to our children.

We have 2 cats Clemens and Minkin. They are both so sweet and all of the kids that visit love them as much as the cats love the kids. Minkin is more independent and Clemens is the attention getter! He wants to be everyone's friend. One day, we hope to add onto our family with a dog as well.

Our Home

We live in a 100 year old colonial home. It had all been updated when we moved in, yet still holds all of the old characteristics which we love. Our neighborhood is very quaint with tree lined streets and lamp posts that bring out historic charm. We are walking distance to our elementary school, the hospital, parks, and a local market.

We chose to live here because it is a central location to large cities, skiing, hiking, boating and historical venues for an educational day out. We are also a quick drive, bike ride, or walk to parks, swimming and nature trails. It was also important for us to be driving distance from our family and close friends.

Rebecca Adores Christopher

Christopher is one of the most giving people I know. He thinks of others before himself, and especially me. He will sit quietly through a "chick flick" because I'm in the mood for it, and happily pops popcorn for us to share. He enjoys life to the fullest and rarely lets anything stand in his way of success and enjoying himself. I just know that he will have a wonderful relationship with our child because he sees the black and white in every situation and knows how to work through issues. He is one of the hardest working people I know, both in his personal life and professional career. He is always striving for something better, to be further educated and to challenge himself.

Christopher has such an array of hobbies. He loves to read, fish, bike, hike, and camp. He enjoys cooking, (but not baking) and makes a mean marinade! On the flip-side, he enjoys history, museums and just a long drive in his jeep with the top down on a sunny day. He talks often about how he intends to share so many of his hobbies with his children.

I think one of the qualities that I admire most is his unending support. Christopher helped me for a few years, and countless hours to help build my home-based business. Sleepless nights, and going out of his comfort zone to make it possible for me to work at home, so that one day, I can stay at home with our children. We both had stay-at-home moms and this is something that is important to us.

Christpher Loves Rebecca

With a love of paper and colors coupled with a creative mind, Rebecca was determined to pursue a business around stationery design. Rebecca has setup a design studio in our home and continues to impress clients everyday just like she did for me the moment I saw her over six years ago.

A very supportive and encouraging woman, not only in our decisions together, but for friends and family as well. Always displaying her big smile, laughing, and enjoying life, Rebecca will make a terrific mom. Ever since I have known Rebecca she has wanted a family, and I'm excited we have an opportunity to portray our lives to you.

They always say that opposites attract, and that is exactly Rebecca and me. I'm wild and crazy, while she is more reserved and calm. A perfect balance. A huge reason for wanting to spend the rest of my life with Rebecca was her values, and great attitude toward life. Growing up in a small town, we share many of the same experiences which will allow us to form a solid foundation with our own family. When not working on her business or spending time with me, Rebecca loves spending beauty time with her two cats, shopping, baseball, camping, and visits to the beach. Whether it's a Sunday drive and grabbing ice-cream or perusing a farmer's market and buying fresh fruits and veggies, I love spending time with Rebecca - I truly have married my best friend!

Friends and Family

We both have large families whom we are very close with. Living nearby makes it very easy for everyone to get together for parties, holidays, and/or an impromptu dinner together during the week. We have yearly traditions including Christmas tree picking where we spend the morning eating and conversing then it's off to the tree farm to locate and cut down the yearly Christmas tree. During the summer and early fall we camp with family and friends as this new tradition brings fun, adventure, and exploration!

Rebecca has two sisters, one of whom is married with two girls and lives about an hour away and the other is local and so excited to have another niece or nephew. Christopher is the oldest of three siblings. His brother also has two girls and his sister has an adorable son. Our entire family is excited for us to become parents and are anxiously awaiting the day we bring a little one to our family gatherings. We are so lucky to have such wonderful, supportive and caring family. It has helped us to become the individuals and couple we are today.

Our close friends are also a huge part of our lives. We spend as much time with friends as we do family and consider them our extended family. There are so many kids that we adore, and they even call us Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Chris.
