We've been together for many years...

...and are best friends in every way. Since first meeting, weve shared dreams of children and raising a family together.

The first chapter of our dream came true in 2006, when we were blessed with the adoption of our daughter, Ella. The three of us are active and we enjoy doing just about anything, as long as we can do it together.

Our days are filled with fun activities. Play is important to us and we always find new learning and growing experiences in everything we do. There is nothing that we enjoy more than sharing our love of sports and our passion for an active lifestyle.

We enjoy family vacations, usually somewhere warm and fun. New experiences and creating new memories has always been, and will always be, very important to us.

Keri...Through Kory's eyes

Keri is the most beautiful, caring person that I have ever known. Who she is, and what makes her tick, is truly a gift she shares with everyone she meets.

Keri is an occupational therapist for a homecare agency in our community. She works her days and lives her life by helping and caring for others, giving hope, and in many situations, giving a renewed sense of life.

Keri always puts others ahead of herself. She finds peace when all of her chickens (me, Ella, family and friends) are taken care of. I'm blessed to have her as my partner in every aspect of our lives together. Besides being my wife and best friend, she and I make a great team together.

Keri has and gives the gift of love and she is a terrific mother. Our daughter has prospered having such a dedicated and life-loving person as her "Mama". I did not think it was possible, but I fall more in love with Keri everyday. To look into our daughter's eyes, you can see that she falls in love with Keri everyday as well.

My favorite part of each and every day is watching Keri and Ella together. The way that Ella looks at Keri, listens to her voice, and just absorbs her words and love, makes me feel complete inside. I feel very lucky to be able to watch their bond grow. Keri has an endless gift of love and life to share and I can't wait to be part of these memories and experiences with another child.

Kory - From Keri's Heart

Kory just cracks me up! He's not only cute, but he also has a very quick wit and is always making me laugh! When I met Kory, he was working as a physical therapy assistant where I also worked. I fell in love with him just watching how kind and fun he was with his patients. Now Kory is a rehab technology specialist - he evaluates people with disabilities and gets them equipment and custom wheelchairs. He specializes in working with children with special needs. He absolutely loves his job. Kory tells me stories of some of the kids he works with that make him laugh and inspire him. It makes me smile at the thought of it.

Many of our close friends laugh when we all get together because all of their kids flock to Kory without solicitation. They beg him to do magic tricks or play hide-and-seek the second we arrive. Our friends jokingly tell me that Kory could have a career in daycare.

Watching my husband interact with our daughter Ella makes me fall in love with him over and over again. Kory and Ella always have such a great time playing, singing, joking, and talking together. Because he is such a "hands-on" dad - going to all the doctors visits, making meals, and giving baths - Kory and Ella have such a strong bond! When I watch the special little moments between Kory and Ella, I know that there is so much more room in Kory's heart for more children.

Kory loves animals, especially our cat Monte. I giggle when I hear the two of them talking back and forth. Monte knows the sound of his truck and always runs to the door to greet him, then the spoiling begins. He also takes great pride in our home and shows it by doing the laundry, cleaning the house, cooking, and above all, manicuring a beautiful lawn that he planted by himself when we built the house.

Kory loves to plan awesome vacations for us. He is so active and when we go away he's like a big kid, especially when we go to Disney World. As a couple, we have a great love of baseball (Kory has played his whole life) and he loves to teach Ella and I all about not only baseball, but music, movies, you name it. I have to be on my toes as the Kory-version of trivial pursuit is always on!

A very smart, but modest person, Kory is so patient, a good listener, and always puts his friends, and especially his family, first. He is such an amazing father and I can't wait to watch those little moments happen again...and I will be falling in love over and over again.

Our Home

Our home is located in a safe, suburban neighborhood. We had our house built in 2002 with the dream of one day filling it with children, laughter, and fun. Our neighborhood is located in a new development. We're surrounded by close friends and neighbors, many of whom have young children. Family lives within walking distance and there are many playgrounds and parks nearby. Schools in our town are also close by and have been rated as some of the best, not only in our area, but in New York State.

Our home is our favorite place to be. We might be outside, working in the yard or enjoying the nice weather with our neighbors, on the deck or in someone's pool.

The neighborhood is always filled with the sound of kids playing and laughing.

We chose our neighborhood because we knew it would be a safe and friendly place to live and raise a family.

We love animals and share our home with Monte, our very spoiled tabby cat. Monte is as much of a people person as we are. She loves attention and is very playful with our daughter. Monte is definitely one of the family.

Our Family

Time spent with family is filled with laughter and fun. Birthdays, holidays, and most weekends always lead to someone's home being filled with people laughing and enjoying time together. We are very fortunate that both sides of our families are close to each other.

We feel blessed to have a second family, made up of our lifelong friends. This includes many young children whom we are Godparents to, or simply know us as Aunt Keri and Uncle Kory.

We embrace the close-knit, secure environment we have. We want nothing more than to share in raising children in it together. Everyone we hold close to us has always supported our dream of having a family, and welcome a new addition with open hearts.

Our family and friends have told us that everything happens for a reason. We finally understand this, as our journey to have a family has led us to adoption. We both know, with every ounce of who we are, that there is another child waiting to become part of our family.

We are excited to share our home, our memories, and our love with another child.
