About Us Kevin and I met sophomore year in high school, after high school we attended separate colleges, commuted, living at our respective parents home. We have grown up together and formed an unbreakable bond of love, compassion, trust and devotion. This bond combined with our strong family ties, morals and work ethics have shaped us to what we are today. Our journey has taken us to a beautiful home, established careers, two wonderful mutts, Hunter and Reese, and a secure marriage, but there is something missing...a child to share in our journey. It only seems natural to share our passion of life with a child. Kevin and I like to make every moment count, whether it is camping, hiking, cooking, gardening, spending time with family and friends or lounging on the couch with the fireplace and a good movie; these are all things and more we cannot wait to share with our child. |

Our Home Welcome to our home located in upper state New York near the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Our neighborhood is quiet, kid friendly with minimal traffic making it ideal for walks, bike riding, and conversing with the neighbors. We have a spacious yard that is perfect for a swing set and lots of fun memories to be made. Our home is close to the elementary, middle and high school, the public library, and our town's sports field. Our neighbors are wonderful, most of them teachers in the local districts and have children of their own, and each summer we gather for a BBQ. Kevin and I love to decorate our home with the seasons...our favorite is the fall with the pumpkins and passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters and Christmas when we decorate the house with lights, candy canes and our fresh cut Fraiser Fur for inside our home. We look forward to bringing our child home to share in our traditions and the celebrations of life. |

Kevin Why I fell in love with the man with the side burns... Over the years Kevin and I have grown inseparable, we enjoy spending time together, camping, fishing, hiking, motorcycling, and most of all our family gatherings. Kevin comes from a supportive and loving family. Both his parents are high school teachers and he has a younger brother (Brian) and sister (Kristen). Brian was Kevin's best man and Kristen was my maid of honor. Brian and Kristen are an integral part of Kevin. They share many memories that they carry with them throughout the years. I am blessed to have been a part of their lives from such a young age, to see them grow into successful individuals. Kevin is an Eagle Scout and was an altar server until eighteen. When I first met Kevin, he and his Uncle Dan just finished rebuilding a 1989 Mustang GT, which was an awesome car to take to our Junior Prom! Kevin loves to work with his hands, rebuilding cars and creating things out of wood, to include our coffee table. In addition to Kevin's skills, he has a strong work ethic having been with the same company now for almost 10 years. Kevin is a great provider and nurturer. His love for life is infectious, each time he smiles at me, I cannot help but smile, his touch gives me goose bumps, and his heart is filled with love and compassion. Kevin will be a wonderful father and I look forward to the day when I watch him hold our child in his arms. This is why I fell in love with the man with the side burns... |

Cassie Why I fell in love with the quiet cheerleader... From the moment we met I knew Cassie was extremely family oriented, she is very close to her parents and her younger brother, Joshua. I proposed to Cassie on Christmas Eve at her annual family gathering because she was surrounded by the most important people in her life. I knew Cassie would be a great mom when I saw her with her Godson, Jed and our Goddaughter, Elizabeth. Cassie is very compassionate; her love for helping others led her to the medical field. When I first met Cassie she introduced me to her Memere Rose, Memere with her love for life, her spunk and the need to put others first have shaped Cassie to be the woman she is today. In addition to her strong family connections, her desire to help others, she has many hobbies. Cassie loves to bake and decorate cakes, she loves to read, plant flowers, and go camping and hiking and the occasional fishing! Cassie will be a wonderful mother and I look forward to the day when I watch her hold our child in her arms. This is why I fell in love with the quiet cheerleader... |

Meet our Family We have an amazing family. We both were born and raised in New Hampshire where the majority of our family currently lives. We are fortunate because we met so early in life to have grown up with each other's families. Our wonderful parents have both been married over 35 years (Cassandra's parents are junior high sweethearts) and have instilled strong values, love, respect, compassion and commitment in their children. Family is a very important part of our lives. We only live a few hours away and we always make time for family functions and traditions. In addition to our immediate family we have a large extended family, filled with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins of all ages. Recently Brian and his wife, Amy had their first born child, our nephew, Samuel. Our family is very excited and supportive in our journey towards adoption. Everyone is eager to take part in nurturing and sharing their love, traditions and memories with a child. |

Meet Hunter & Reese Hunter is kind, gentle and a playful six-year-old lab mix. He enjoys playing outside with the neighborhood children and their dogs; he loves to go for walks, and enjoys rides in the car. He is very docile with children and dogs especially his sister Reese. Reese is a two-year-old mix breed and her name is best described by one of the children in our neighborhood, "as a dark chocolate peanut butter cup." Reese is a loveable and curious pup. She is a cuddle bug and each time you look at Reese you cannot help but smile as her ears stick straight out! Hunter and Reese are members of our family and are very excited to share their love, home and protection with a baby. |

Our commitment to you and your child... Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and our family. We would be privileged to meet you, should you choose, to answer any questions that you may have in making this important decision for you and your child. We would like to extend the same to you and your child each day, raising them as our own, knowing that the love and happiness they experience daily was made possible by the sacrifice of their birth mother. We wish you courage and peace in your decision and look forward to getting to know you. Thank you. Feel free to reach out to us toll free through Friends in Adoption Cassandra & Kevin |
