About Julie

I think Julie became a social worker because helping people is a natural instinct for her. She loves people, animals, and life, and being a mother is what she loves above everything else. I think her own father said it best- “That kid (Henry) is lucky to have a mother like that.”

Every morning she has him up, dressed, and eating breakfast before I even get out of the shower. At night she curls up next to him, with his best stuffed animal, The Lorax, and reads 3:4 books to him before he goes to sleep. (They even have their own name for it- The Reading Club.)

Julie has the warmth of a teddy bear but also the organizational skills of a 5:star General. She arranges all of our doctor’s appointments, not just Henry’s but mine too; dentist appointments included and no getting out of it.
