My Self

Since I was very young, I’ve had two dreams for my life — to become a teacher and a mother. In 1999, my first dream was realized after graduating with certifications in Elementary and Special Education. After teaching special ed for two years, I became certified in math, and have been teaching math in a small urban high school since 2001.

Although I have dated on and off, I have not yet met someone I’d like to spend the rest of my life with and have decided to pursue my dream of becoming a mother through adoption.

These are a few of my favorite things:

• Music — I play the piano and the cello
