My Summers

As a teacher, my summers are my chance to kick back, relax, and soak in the simple joys of everyday living. I enjoy spending time during the summer up at my parents’ lake house, about 45 minutes north of my house. We enjoy swimming, walks around the lake, and our various people-powered water craft. I also enjoy going out for bike rides to explore the area, always with my camera. One of our favorite things to do is sit in the water for hours, only coming out for popsicles on the float! I love going for a good run around the lake, knowing that as soon as I get back I can jump in.
