We are excited to introduce you to our lives. We hope this profile gives you a good sense of our family and the life we would share with your child. We have many loved ones in our circle of family and friends who were adopted. We are thankful that love has brought us together and we are profoundly grateful to you for opening your life to adoption. Thank you for reviewing our profile and learning about our lives. We look forward to meeting you if you so choose.

Welcome to our life together...

We became close friends during college. After college, our friendship deepened as we each explored various career paths. When we married in the fall of 2004, our celebration was truly one between best friends who had shared special moments together for many years. After being such an important part of each other’s lives for so long, we knew that we wanted to become parents together.

Family is everything to us...

Both of us have large families who live nearby. We love to spend time with them whether it’s a simple dinner, playing with the kids, or celebrating at a large holiday party!

We live a few minutes from a great park and playground. The park has miles of trails for walking and riding bikes. The playground has new, safe equipment and is loved by kids!

Cindy brings us all together...by Justyn

Everyday for Cindy starts with time for family. She and her Mom are best friends and she supports her Mom in everything she does, from cheering her on as she marches in the St. Patrick’s Day parade to helping her get everything ready for family cookouts, concerts and vacations. Cindy also loves moments with her Dad, like having lunch together, watching the moon, and helping him with his flowers and Christmas wreaths.

“Aunt Cindy” cherishes the times she spends with her niece and nephew, no matter what they are doing. Some favorite times include boating and swimming at the lake, camping, cross-country skiing, painting pottery, playing games, decorating birthday cakes and cheering at their softball and soccer games. Cindy is the hub of our extended family, keeping track of all the special moments in everyone’s lives and helping us all to celebrate our family.

Cindy really knows what sharing is about. She loves growing her vegetable garden each year so she can share her “harvest” with family and neighbors. She keeps our flower gardens beautiful, too, and she is looking forward to sharing her love of gardening with a little one someday soon.

She connects with people all day long, when mentoring her students to help them achieve their dreams, or when drawing her theater friends and colleagues closer together to create a new show for the community. Whether it’s a holiday meal with family or a Breast Cancer Research fundraiser with friends and neighbors, she opens our home with warmth and compassion to all those around us.

Cindy is the love of my life, and I am very richly blessed for everything she brings to our relationship. She gives from her heart, and I know she will bring the greatest love and joy into the lives of our children.

Justyn always makes me laugh...by Cindy

Justyn is one of the most loving and honest people I know. He’s also a lot of fun to be around! His sense of compassion and justice for people first brought us together as theater friends in college when our theater department was committed to performing plays that strive to make the world a better place.

After college, Justyn considered a career in theology as a way to improve the world around us. Following his heart and his dedication to humanity, he eventually found his passion and talent in law. He has become a well-respected attorney who is known for his intelligence, hard work and compassion for all. He remains committed to charitable activities through our church and by sharing his legal talents with those who otherwise couldn’t afford legal advice or representation.

Family and friends also know they can count on Justyn for a daily dose of laughter! The kids in our family love playing with him, whether it be board games, video games or making up a game like flying paper airplanes off the balcony in our house. He loves being outside and exploring the beauty of nature. Hiking, canoeing, scuba diving, playing golf, and taking care of our gardens and yard (especially with his tractor!) are all favorite activities of his. He can’t wait to share all of these things and more with our future children.

Justyn was meant to be a Dad. His love of life and his concern for those around him make him a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Our children will grow up exploring the world in which we live and will always be surrounded with laughter, fun, and love.

Family makes us whole...

Cindy... has 29 aunts and uncles, and 37 first cousins. Special celebrations like holidays, birthdays, and graduations keep us all connected.

Her brother and family live practically next door. Her niece (Alysha) and nephew (Jacob) love to come over to play. Their Mom (Tammy) and Dad (Bill Jr.) are looking forward to having a new niece or nephew so close by!

Cindy’s parents (Bill Sr. and Mary) live five-minutes away. They have loved playing games and doing all sorts of activities with their grandchildren (Alysha and Jacob). They can’t wait to become grandparents again!

Justyn… has a large family as well. His father (John) and step-mother (Jane) live about an hour away in a beautiful little country town where they raise alpacas on their farm. Jane is also a talented painter. Her paintings decorate the walls throughout our home.

Justyn’s mom (Ruth) passed away years ago from breast cancer but we keep the memory of her alive through her recipes, traditions and the love she shared with her children. Justyn’s sister (Jolene) lives in Texas but always stays with us during her frequent visits. We visit with Justyn’s brother (John, Jr.) and wife (Nancy) as well as his step-brother (Joel) and wife (Kim) along with their many children throughout the year. Everyone is excited to welcome a new child into our family!
