| The
most precious gift a person can give is life to a child. We are overjoyed that
you have been blessed with the strength and selflessness to give the gift of life.
With that thought in mind, we are thrilled that you are interested in learning
more about us and our family. It is hard to express in words, the
joy and excitement that fills our hearts as we take this journey toward adopting
a child. With every moment that passes, we know that a beloved child is that much
closer to coming home, into our warm loving arms. Our home is filled with laughter,
affection, and devoted adoration for one another. We dream of welcoming a little
one into our home and pray that you may entrust your precious gift to us. |
Our Story
So
glad to be together in the Bahamas Our lives before
we met were years spent learning about ourselves, surviving on our individual
strengths, and enjoying the gifts we were given...Gifts of family and friends,
challenging work and joyful play. As individuals, we longed for someone to share
our love, our life, and our future. Through mutual friends our paths finally crossed.
At last, we found the love, comfort, and devotion for which we had been searching.
We realize that the years spent alone were simply a journey along a path, traveling
toward one another. We are filled with excitement and wonderful anticipation as
we now continue down that path together toward adoption. Our house
sits on a country road in a small rural community in upstate New York. We have
a large yard, and we frequently enjoy peaceful walks in the woods that surround
our land. Our close knit community is friendly, safe, and quiet. Patrick has lived
in our town since he was a child. His years spent growing up, working, and volunteering
in our quaint little town, has nurtured relationships that we enjoy as a couple.
Rarely do we go to the local grocery store or restaurant, when we don't get the
opportunity to talk to friends and neighbors. Although our town is charmingly
country, we are only twenty minutes from a busy city. |

by Mary Kay As a young boy Patrick was his mother's "little
helper". She has told me stories of him climbing off the school bus with his four
brothers and sisters. As they ran into the warm house, Patrick would pick up a
shovel or a rake to help his Dad in the yard. Many of the Moore's childhood photos
show five smiling children, but none shined as brightly as Patrick's.
Patrick enjoys working with his hands in the outdoors. He is an avid gardener,
and takes pride in caring for our home. He has been an employee for the town we
reside in for 18 years. It is a physically challenging career, one he does with
pride. His outstanding performance and leadership skills enabled him to be promoted
to foreman of his department in 2005. Since he was a teen, he has also worked
part-time on his best friend's farm. He is a volunteer at the fire department
in our town, and he also enjoys being a member of the local snowmobile club. |

love him for his sense of duty to his community, his pride in his workmanship,
his protection and devotion to his family and friends, and his strong, sensitive
way of caring for me and our home. I often see the shining smile of the little
boy in him as he enjoys life and makes me laugh. With his quiet fortitude and
rich sense of humor, he looks forward to helping a child experience the excitement,
challenges and wonders of life. I know I am blessed to have Patrick in my life,
and I am absolutely positive that if given the gift of fatherhood, he will shower
that special child with all the love in his heart. |

Mary Kay by Patrick Mary Kay grew up in a suburb in upstate
New York. She is the middle child of three daughters. As a child she enjoyed games
with neighborhood friends, dance class, Girl Scouts, and the swim team. Her best
childhood memories are her time spent in The Thousand Islands with her family.
Mary Kay has spent many years caring for others, but her most cherished moments
were spent working as a Labor and Delivery nurse and as a prenatal class instructor.
She now enjoys her work as a nurse at an ambulatory surgical center.
She
enjoys photography, reading, knitting, taking long walks in our local parks, and
has a real enthusiasm for wood working. She also delights in volunteering as a
Girl Scout leader for her niece, Kaelyn's Girl Scout troop. She adores her time
with all our nieces and nephews, and has said that her favorite sound is their
giggles. | I
love her because she is so wonderfully compassionate. In her heart she holds a
gentle kindness, an unending concern for others, and she devotedly shares it with
those in her life. Throughout her life, Mary Kay has longed to have children.
She has cared as a mother would, for so many people. To be a mother is who she
is in her heart and in her soul. It is as much a part of her as is her blue eyes
and her sunny disposition. If chosen, I can assure you without any doubt or reservation,
that Mary Kay will be a wonderful, caring, compassionate, and loving mother to
your child. In my heart I believe it is who she is meant to be. |

Our Home Away from Home
Our
Cottage One of the things we cherish most is our
family time spent at our cottage on the St. Lawrence River. There is no other
place on earth to help balance our minds and spirits. We enjoy swimming, water
skiing, boating, sailing, and jet skiing. However, nothing can match our passion
for fishing. There is nothing like sitting in the boat together with a fishing
rod in our hands, watching the golden sunset, and listening to the loons saying
goodbye to the summer day. |

Promise to You
We
will pray for you as you make this difficult decision. We pray that your heart
and mind are finally set at ease. If chosen, we will welcome your child into our
lives with open arms. Your precious child will be raised with a wealth of love,
in a family full of laughter, hugs and kisses.
We would be thrilled if
you wish to join our family. We know that without your presence, the life and
history of your child would be incomplete. To know you and have you in our lives
would be a blessing that we would never deny. Our hearts will always hold nothing
but fond respect and unending gratitude for you. We will forever remember the
sacrifice and devotion you have made. Your child will know you are the strong
woman who gave them "life". We promise to share with your child, the
story of your sacrifice and love. With all
our hearts, we thank you,
