Hi! We are Matt and Jen and we want to say thank you for taking the time to get to know us, our family, and our friends. As you begin this difficult journey of decision making, we want you to know that if you choose us as part of your adoption plan for your child, please know we will always love him or her entirely. The fact that you are taking the time to consider all your options shows how courageous and strong you are and that you only want what is best for your child.

Our Home

Our home is filled with love, laughter and family.

We have two dogs who love hanging with us: Lady, an Olddee Bulldoggee, and Charlie, an English Bulldog. They are a huge part of our family and are very social, as they both love when our nieces and nephews come over to play.

Getting ready for a ride

We bought our current house just over a year ago, so we enjoy working on it and making it a home. We love to spend time outdoors in our yard doing simple things like grilling, swimming, or just being with family and friends by the fire. Camping and a sunny day ride on our Harley’s ranks right up there too! When it’s too cold for a bike ride, you’ll find us rooting for the Pats to win.

We just like being together. We believe we can do anything in the world as long as we have each other.

Matt by Jen

I met Matt at a mutual friend’s annual barbeque. Once we were introduced, that was it; we talked all night long. Matt is the youngest of eight children from a good Irish Catholic family. He was an uncle at the age of 10 and is a great one at that! He will be an amazing father as he is compassionate, loving, fair, strong, energetic, and not without a great sense of humor. Matt is an exceptionally talented carpenter. He has beenwith the same company for 15 years, working his way up to foreman, running jobs. Matt really enjoys what he does tremendously, as he knows there is always something new for him to learn and something new to teach

Matt’s family means the world to him; he would drop everything for them in a minute if they called on him. Being the family carpenter, he is definitely needed. Our nephews and nieces are enthralled with their “Uncle Matty,” who will play anythingwith them, whether it’s restaurant, LEGOs, or just reading a story. He will be the first one to tell you how excited he is to become a dad.

Jen by Matt

Jen is the most beautiful woman I have ever met, both inside and out. She is so outgoing and such a people-person; very rarely can we go somewhere and Jen not know someone there. She loves coaching her cheerleading team and working with kids. Her motivation has always been in making a difference; even if it’s in just one student’s life, it’s all worth it.

Sleepover with niece, Autumn.

Jen comes from a big family, with four sisters and a brother, and they get together as often as possible. Jen is devoted to her family and always looks forward to hosting Christmas dinner for everyone. She is the Godmother of our youngest nephew, and it is so sweet to see him curled up on her lap, napping after listening to a story. Jen’s “girl’s nights” with our 6 year old niece, Autumn are the best; they begin with “Mani-Pedi” and then move on to watching a movie complete with popcorn while their nails dry.

Jen is amazing with children of all ages. She has been our niece’s biggest fan throughout their softball careers, from high school through college. Jen and I have always looked forward to raising a family together and I just can’t wait to witness Jen become a mom, something I believe with my whole heart that she was born to do.
