PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Dozens of adults who had been adopted as children received their birth certificates Monday after a ceremony at the Rhode Island Health Department.
After thanking legislators and advocates for getting the bill that took effect Monday passed in June of 2011, Governor Chafee said the adoptees will now be able "to find out the truth about the start of your lives."
