Our Happy Little Corner of the World
Our home is filled with music, love, and laughter — waiting to be shared in Buffalo, NY.
We live in a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath Victorian home built in the early 1900s, filled with the same charm and character it had when it was first created.
In recent years, we’ve lovingly restored and updated parts of the house to reflect its original feel while adding comfort and functionality for modern family life. It’s been important to us to honor the house’s history while making it a space that feels safe, cozy, and lived-in.
Our neighborhood is walkable and close to family, parks, and great schools, which allows for both connection and ease in our everyday routines. We picture a childhood here filled with bike rides, snow-day cocoa, living-room dance parties, and quiet moments curled up with a book.
Our home is also a place where people gather. Family dinners, celebrations, and time with our chosen family are part of our rhythm, and we look forward to building traditions that grow along with our family.
Our current “little family members” are our two orange tabby cats — Charlie and Hurley. They are gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully patient.
Our home is warm, welcoming, and full of joy. Most of all, we hope our home feels like what it truly is — a place rooted in love, stability, and support. A place where a child will always know they are deeply loved, encouraged to be themselves, and surrounded by a community that shows up for them every step of the way.
Life Around Us
One of the things we love most about living in Western New York is the strong sense of community here. We’re in a suburb just outside of Buffalo where the seasons really shape the year, and there’s always something bringing people together — like the free summer concerts in the park and the weekend farmers’ market.
Some of our favorite traditions are the simple ones. We enjoy walking through the art and chalk festivals in the summer, taste testing the best burgers in Western New York at BurgerFest, and going to the many annual holiday parades throughout the year.
We appreciate the slower pace of suburban life, but are close enough to Downtown Buffalo to enjoy museums, waterfront events, art festivals, and theater.
Being close to Buffalo also means there are endless opportunities for a child to grow into their own interests over time — whether that’s sports, music, art, nature, theater, or simply discovering what makes them happiest.
But one of the greatest things about Buffalo and the surrounding communities is that it’s made special by the many cultures, backgrounds, and traditions of its diverse people. We want a child to grow up knowing that every part of their story matters and feeling supported as they learn about what makes them unique.
We hope our home will be a place where curiosity is encouraged, individuality is celebrated, and everyday life feels safe, supportive, and full of love.
