Hello, with greetings from Brooklyn, NY!
We are Heather and Dori, and, together with our daughter Sandrava, we are looking to adopt our second child.
We want to begin by acknowledging the strength, courage, and thoughtfulness it takes to consider adoption as an option for you and your child. We know this can be an incredibly emotional and challenging time, filled with difficult decisions, and we deeply respect the care and love that guides you on this journey.
We had always dreamed of having children but we could not have known, until we experienced bringing Sandrava home, the richness and joy having a child would add to our lives. We can already tell our playful, intelligent, and kind daughter Sandrava will be the most excellent big sister. Now, as she enters toddlerhood, we are ready and eager to have another child join our family through adoption.
Although we can be pretty goofy people, we take the decision to have another child and to adopt again very seriously. It is a privilege to raise a child, especially a child who has been adopted.
