My Story

I would describe myself as independent, active, and nurturing, with a deep desire to become a mother. Adoption has been on my heart for many years, and I believe it is the path I was meant to take to build my family. Though I am single, I am far from alone on this journey. I have an incredible circle of family and friends who are just as excited as I am and who can’t wait to welcome a child into their lives with open arms.

I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, surrounded by a big, loving extended family. As the middle child and only girl, with both an older and a younger brother, I learned early on how to hold my own. Family has always been a huge part of my life, and I treasure holidays and celebrations where everyone comes together with plenty of laughter, food, and love.

From a young age, I was always on the move — whether it was dance, softball, or any activity I could join. Those passions for movement and teamwork helped shape who I am today. I also spent much of my childhood and teen years volunteering at a daycare and babysitting, which sparked my love for children and showed me how deeply I enjoy being a caregiver.

Today, I manage a bank branch with a team of six — who I affectionately call “my kids.” I love mentoring them, watching them grow, and supporting them as they build their careers. My job allows me to guide others while staying connected to a strong, supportive community, something I truly value.

I recently bought my first home in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood in Bellingham, Massachusetts, with access to a beautiful lake. Walks by the water are one of my favorite ways to unwind, and I look forward to warm days when I can get out on the lake. My three sweet cats keep me company and fill the house with comfort and joy. I’ve worked hard to make my home warm and welcoming, and I can’t wait to fill it with the sounds of a child’s laughter.

In my free time, I love to travel — especially to places filled with fun and wonder, like Disney World and the beach. I’ve visited Disney more than thirty times, and I never lose the sense of magic when I go. Each year, I also join my extended family for our long-standing tradition of a summer trip to Sebago Lake in Maine, where three generations gather for swimming, games, campfires, and time together.

I value experiences and making memories, and I look forward to sharing those moments with the child I hope to adopt in the near future — whether it’s traveling somewhere exciting, building sandcastles, going on nature walks, or enjoying movie nights at home.

I’ve always dreamed of becoming a mom. Adoption has been on my heart for many years, and I’m ready to share the love and joy I have with a child.
I grew up in Boston. I’m proud of my roots and grateful for the strong values and sense of community that shaped me. I still love visiting the city for walks along the Charles, Fenway games, and cannoli in the North End.
Family means everything to me — especially during the holidays. My extended family is very close, and holidays are a big deal for us. We come together with food, laughter, traditions, and lots of love — something I look forward to sharing with a child.
I danced for twenty years. From ballet and tap to jazz and hip-hop, dance was a huge part of my childhood and taught me discipline, confidence, and a lifelong love of movement.
I was a year-round softball player growing up. I played on multiple teams and loved being part of each one, competing, and having fun both on and off the field.
I’m a proud cat mom. My three sweet cats are full of personality and make my house feel like home. They’re gentle, playful, and would be loving companions for a child.
I’m active and adventurous. I enjoy exploring new places, trying new things, and making everyday moments feel special.
I’m an independent spirit. I’ve built a life I love and look forward to sharing it with a child — full of security, laughter, learning, and unconditional love.
Disney World is one of my happy places. Whether it’s the magic of Main Street or the constant sound of laughter, I love making memories in places filled with joy and wonder.
I love to bake. I enjoy trying new recipes and never show up to a family gathering without something sweet.

“Dear Reader,

I am writing with a heart full of hope and gratitude as I share a bit about my daughter, Jillian. I can only imagine the emotions you may be navigating right now, and I deeply respect the thought, love, and care you are putting into your child’s future.

Jillian — my sweet “Jillybean” — has been a loving, gentle soul from the very beginning. Her big blue eyes and warm smile drew people in even as a baby, and she grew into a compassionate daughter, sister, and friend. She is truly my rock, and I am incredibly proud of the woman she has become.

Growing up, Jillian was always surrounded by children and naturally stepped into a caregiving role. She helped younger kids in the neighborhood, played with them, read to them, and made sure everyone felt included. She danced from age two through college, performing everywhere from community events to Disney World — sparking the love for Disney she still carries today. She also enjoyed pageants, softball, and trying anything new that came her way.

Jillian spent years helping at her aunt’s daycare and was the cousin everyone trusted to watch their children. Even now, she is the aunt who jumps right in — playing, reading, helping at bedtime, and giving her nephews all the love in the world. Children naturally gravitate toward her, and she meets them with patience, care, and genuine attention.

As an adult, Jillian has built a successful career in banking and now serves as an Assistant Vice President Branch Manager. She has always been hardworking and responsible, purchasing and managing her first multi-family home in her twenties and later settling in a warm, family-friendly neighborhood in Bellingham — a place she chose thoughtfully, with a future child in mind.

Jillian possesses a beautiful combination of kindness, strength, and compassion. Those who know her describe her as nurturing, reliable, and patient. I truly believe she will be a loving, dedicated mother who creates a home filled with warmth, stability, laughter, and unconditional love.

My Home

I recently bought my new home in a quiet, welcoming neighborhood in Bellingham, Massachusetts. It’s tucked away in a peaceful area with lake access, and one of my favorite things to do is take long walks along the water — it’s calm, beautiful, and gives me a deep sense of peace. I can easily imagine stroller walks on those paths or summer afternoons spent skipping rocks and watching ducks.

My home is bright, warm, and filled with things I love — from family photos to small Disney touches. It has plenty of space for a child to grow, play, and feel safe.

The neighborhood is friendly and secure, with children riding bikes, neighbors waving hello, and community events throughout the year. I chose this home not just for myself, but for the future I hope to share with a child — filled with love, laughter, and a strong sense of belonging.

One of my favorite things about having a home of my own is decorating for the holidays. Whether it’s pumpkins on the porch in October, a sparkling tree in December, or heart-shaped cookies in February, I love turning the house into a place that feels magical, festive, and joyful. I look forward to sharing those traditions with a child — hanging ornaments together, reading holiday stories by the tree, or baking treats to share with family and friends.

About the Community Where I Live

Bellingham, Massachusetts is a family-oriented town known for its strong sense of community and small-town feel. Neighbors tend to know one another, and families often connect through schools, sports, and local events.

My Village

Family means everything to me, and I feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such a close-knit, supportive group of people. My mom still lives in the same home in Boston where I grew up, and we see each other often — whether she’s visiting me, I’m heading back home, or we’re meeting halfway for a lunch date to catch up. She’s one of my best friends and is so excited about becoming a grandmother again.

My older brother, his wife, and their son — my sweet nephew — live about half an hour away. My nephew is already looking forward to having a new cousin to play with and can’t wait to share his toys and adventures. My younger brother and his new wife also live in Boston, not far from where we grew up. They even gave me my first four-legged nephew, who loves long walks and watching the bunnies in the backyard.

My extended family is large and full of love, with aunts, uncles, and cousins galore. Our gatherings are joyful, lively, and centered around food, laughter, and storytelling — whether we’re celebrating a holiday, a birthday, or spending another summer week together during our annual trip to Sebago Lake. Being together in these moments has been incredibly special, and I look forward to welcoming another child into that warm and loving circle.

While my circle of friends may be smaller, they are truly chosen family. Some have been in my life since childhood, others were college roommates, and several are friends I met through work who have become lifelong companions. They are the people I laugh with, lean on, travel with, and turn to for both everyday moments and life’s biggest celebrations. Many of them are parents themselves and have already offered support, hand-me-downs, playdates, and parenting wisdom. They are kind, generous, and wholeheartedly invested in this journey — ready to surround a child with love, encouragement, and plenty of joyful “auntie” and “uncle” energy.

The child I hope to adopt will be deeply loved — not only by me, but by an entire village of people who are ready to show up, cheer them on, and support them through every stage of life.

Meet the Kitties

My home wouldn’t feel complete without my three cats, lovingly known as my Hocus Pocus crew. Each of them has a distinct personality, and together they bring so much warmth, comfort, and joy into my everyday life.

Binx and Dani are six-year-old littermates with very different temperaments.

Binx, my mostly black cat with a tiny white patch on her chest, is Ms. Independent. She’s a bit shy at first, but once she trusts someone, she’ll curl up quietly beside them like a little shadow.

Dani, her gray-and-tan tabby sister, is the complete opposite — Ms. Lovable. She adores affection and will happily fall asleep on anyone’s chest if given the chance. She truly wears her heart on her sleeve.

The newest addition is Winnifred — or Winnie — my seven-month-old orange tabby. In true orange-cat fashion, she embodies Ms. Chaos in the best possible way. She’s playful, endlessly curious, and has never met a toy she didn’t love. Her absolute favorites are the little balls she proudly carries around the house to play fetch.

Together, these three bring laughter, comfort, and a whole lot of personality to my home. They’re gentle and welcoming with visitors, and I can easily imagine them offering affection, fun, and quiet companionship to a child in the years ahead.

My Favorite Places

Travel has always been an important part of my life, both for fun and for creating meaningful memories with the people I care about most. One of my favorite places in the world is Disney World. I’ve visited many times over the years, and it still feels just as magical every time. Whether it’s riding the rides, watching the fireworks, or simply soaking in the creativity and joy all around, it’s a place that never fails to make me smile. I usually go a few times each year, and I look forward to one day sharing those trips with a child — experiencing the wonder and excitement together.

Another place that holds a very special place in my heart is Sebago Lake in Maine, where my family gathers each summer. We’ve returned year after year, and it’s the kind of trip where time seems to slow down. Our days are filled with swimming, board games, evenings by the fire, and long conversations that stretch late into the night. It’s a week centered on connection, laughter, and simply being together, and it’s something I treasure deeply.

Whether it’s a big adventure or a quiet getaway, travel is how I unwind, reconnect, and make lasting memories. I’m excited about sharing that sense of curiosity, togetherness, and discovery with a child — creating meaningful moments in places that are familiar to me, as well as exploring new places side by side.
