US Supreme Court Strikes Down DOMA

DOMA Ruled as Unconstitutional In a 5-4 ruling today, the Supreme Court ruled the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) to be unconstitutional, on the grounds that it discriminates against gay people who are in a lawful same sex marriage.
