Urgent Adoption Situations and How to Handle Them

What do we mean by urgent adoption situations? Usually the phrase refers to situations where the birth mother decides to give up the baby for adoption at the hospital or after birth.

While it may be ideal to have an adoption plan in place before birth is imminent, things happen and circumstances change. Sometimes it happens that the birth couple just can’t make a decision until the baby arrives. Sometimes life circumstances change, and a birth mother who was originally planning to parent the child now needs to place the baby for adoption
